CITY OF SEADRIFT is seeking two full-time solid waste employees with full benefits. One part-time position is also open. Individuals will work in Seadrift’s Solid Waste Department collecting solid waste from residences and small businesses, operating solid waste vehicles, operating other equipment and performing any other solid waste related duties as requested. CDL not required but if you have a Class B it is a plus.  Able to follow directions with initiative and have a positive attitude. Individual will be dealing with the public, elected officials and City Hall staff. Background checks will be performed on all applicants for screening purposes. A pre-employment drug test and physical will be required for candidates considered for hiring. An employment application form is required and may be requested in person, by mail, by phone, or fax.
