The First Baptist Church Fellowship Committee has been exceptionally busy lately in final plans for this year’s “SWEETHEART BANQUET”, which will be held in the Port O’Connor Community Center Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. This year’s theme is “Love, The Winning Bid”! A famed auctioneer, John Sisk, will provide the entertainment with his songs, jokes, and his auctioneering. The Committee will have the Community Center beautifully decorated and the affair will have door prizes and recognize all those married 50 years and longer and the couple married the shortest time. The annual “Citizen of the Year” award will be presented. Everyone will join in singing “Let Me Call You Sweetheart”. Dinner will be served to everyone and included a charcoal-broiled rib eye steak with all the trimmings, dessert and tea or coffee. Tickets are $7.00 each and we must limit ticket sales to 200 due to space limitations. Tickets may be purchased from the following:
