When we first saw Diego, everyone said, “Wow, he’s very different!” A very distinctive looking German Shepherd/Dalmatian cross about 3 years old and a big guy, he’s super friendly, romps like a puppy and is eager to please. Diego will require a secure privacy fence as, like Dora, he’s an Explorer.

Gunnar
Is there anything more elegant than a black cat? Gunnar is still a kitten, about 4 months old, but is already a majestic fella. Playful? Oh, my!! Loving? Absolutely!! Come see Gunner, Diego and all the other animals at the Port Lavaca Animal Shelter, 201 Stringham Drive (across from the rodeo arena), Monday through Saturday, 10 to 2, or call the Calhoun County Humane Society, 553-8916.
