In the absence or our Pastor, Brother Marcos, we were blessed with having Brother George Yarbrough filling the pulpit in both services this past Sunday. Brother George and wife Barbara are no strangers to the church. We always enjoy their fellowship.

Brother Marcos and Sue were guests at their daughters, to witness the baptism of two of their grandchildren, Mary Grace and Micah Ryan.

The Church observed the Ordinance of the “Lord’s Supper” last Sunday morning. This was a very inspirational service and a time when many rededicated their lives.

Senior adults are preparing for the Senior Adult Retreat at Camp Zephyr. The spring Retreat begins Monday, March 7, and concludes Thursday, March 10. Camp Zephyr is located north of Corpus Christi on Lake Corpus Christi and is a beautiful camp. Brother Marcos and Sue will be in charge of the music and there will be great Bible teaching, Gospel music, food and fellowship.

Candice Stryker is in charge of this year’s Easter Egg Hunt, which will be held at the Church Fellowship Hall on Saturday, April 23. All children will be treated to refreshments and an exciting hunt.

Don’t forget to set your clocks FORWARD one hour on Sunday, March 13. If you don’t, you will be too late for church!

School Spring Break is March 13-19.
