Margaret Chatham has been a vital part of the community for over 40 years. She was a judge for the city of Seadrift for 25 years. Margaret’s health has been deteriorating since 2008. She was diagnosed with primary biliary chirrosis, an inherited and incurable disease. Help can come in the form of a liver transplant. She has been on the transplant list since 2009.
A benefit fish fry with auction and raffle is being planned and will be held at the Seadrift School in May. Any donations for the raffle or auction would be greatly appreciated by her and her family and friends.
