Hope High School Environmental Club took part in the Don’t Mess with Texas Trash-Off. The club is part of the Adopt-A-Highway program and has adopted Alcoa Drive in Port Lavaca as their project. Three bags of garbage were collected with the most unusual item that was found were lottery tickets (no winners).
