Juan Resendiz and Whitney Ronshausen with their Regional Science Fair Exhibits

On April 30th and May 1st students from Port O’Connor Elementary traveled to Corpus Christi to the Regional Science Fair on the Texas A&M Corpus Christi campus. Representing the third grade were Thomas Hawes, Clayton Maraggia, and Sam Thumann. Jerry Satterfield and Parker Luna, Jaylin Ramirez and Hailey Mang represented fifth grade. Juan Resendiz and Whitney Ronshausen represented sixth grade.

Juan Resendiz was awarded second place overall in Physical Science for sixth grade and Whitney Ronshausen received third place overall in the sixth grade Earth Science division.

Congratulations to everyone on a job well done. They are all winners to have made it all the way to the end. They represented Port O’Connor School and Calhoun County well!
