Seadrift- Alice Peeler, 65, of Seadrift passed away May 29, 2011. She was born November 3, 1945 in Calhoun County to the late Wesley “Cleo” Blevins and Tommie Key Blevins.

She is survived by her husband, James Peeler Sr.; daughters, Charlotte (Ronald) Wooldridge, Stacie (Richard) Williamson, and Lucie (Matthew) Lasley; sons, James Peeler Jr., and Tommy Jo “TJ” Blevins, all of Seadrift; brothers, Robert (Janell) Blevins and Billy (Debra) Blevins, both of Victoria, Michael (Barbara) Blevins of Crystal Beach, and Marcus (Sue) Blevins of Seadrift; and 12 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Miles Peeler; grandson, Walter Wooldridge; and brothers, Barry and Timothy Blevins.

Graveside services were held Thursday, June 2, 2011, at the Seadrift Cemetery.
