Many of you may be reading this while enjoying some Thanksgiving left-overs. We certainly hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day. So, now, it is already time to begin preparing for Christmas. In this issue of Dolphin Talk you will find many of the Christmas events scheduled in our area. Everything from parades to parties, to choral performances, to live nativity scenes is on the menu. All of these require much preparation and expense from volunteers throughout the community. We certainly appreciate their efforts and hope that you will attend and enjoy many of them.
Getting into the holiday spirit, many of you will be decorating your homes and businesses. If you live in Port O’Connor, be sure to enter the Chamber’s Lighting Contest.
Should you see and photograph an especially intriguing lighting display, or have a good photo of a Christmas event, please send us a copy by December 12. We may be able to print your photo in our December 16 Christmas issue.
I’ll be out and about at as many of the holiday events as possible, and I hope to see you there. And, while the spirit of Thanksgiving still lingers, may I say, “Thank you for reading Dolphin Talk!”
