Each year FedEx employees across the nation participate in a day of volunteering to help make their communities a better place in which to live. This year Christopher B. Cox, Station Manager, and his FedEx employees at 1404 E. Rio Grande, in Victoria, Texas selected the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent as their nonprofit of choice.

The “Day of Caring” project included landscaping, backfilling the facility foundation and painting of the white lines inside the food bank. FedEx employees showed up with shovels, rakes, paint brushes, wheel barrels and even a tractor to carry out their task.

Much was accomplished and after spending a good part of the day completing their project the FedEx team assembled for a group picture and a pat on the back for a good job done!
