In an emergency meeting February 6, Commissioners’ Court lifted the burn ban. They urge caution to anyone burning during times of high wind and/or low humidity.
While not required, it is a good idea to contact the Sheriff’s office when you plan to burn, so they will know, should they receive a report of a fire at your location, not to dispatch fire services.
