There were 223 calls of police service for January, Calls range from disturbances, ex patrols, traffic stops, and public information,

1 burglary..(old case)-  investigated by officers and Texas Ranger.

1 burglary of residence- Subject indicted by grand jury

1Theft from buisness- subject arrested with warrant

1 motor vehicle accident ( 18 wheeler and pole)

3 stores in Port Lavaca, selling narcotics to Seadrift citizens

1 narcotics being sold in Seadrift bar. (assisted by CCSO)

1 stolen boat recovered on traffic stop

1   5 week old infant death

2 cases, burglary and assault investigated by Texas Ranger

Evidence taken to Corpus Christi crime lab by SPD Officers. All old and new evidence in Seadrift police lockers have been itemized and reviewed by SPD officers and Texas Ranger.
