Condolences

We, at the Chapel, wish to express our sympathy and love to the family of Annette Green who passed from this earth to her heavenly home on Monday, March 5, 2010. Annette had been on a waiting list for several years, needing a liver transplant, which never came. Despite her illness, Annette was faithful in her attendance at Fisherman’s Chapel, and took on the responsibility of our Friday Night Youth. Her warm smile and cheerful attitude will be greatly missed.

This Sunday, March 11, at 11:00 a.m., a memorial service for Annette will be part of our morning worship. In lieu of flowers, a gift to Fisherman’s Chapel to help defray funeral expenses will be greatly appreciated.

The Chapel wishes to express our thanks for all the support received at the Jerry Nutt Estate Benefit. It was wonderful to see so many working together to help Jan.

Happy Birthday, Papaw!

On Sunday, March 4, Fisherman’s Chapel celebrated Papaw’s (Larry Gonzales) 91st birthday at our annual Chili Cook-off. Several of his family from the Houston area were in attendance, and everyone enjoyed the chili and desserts.

Carol Haverfield took First Place honors in the Chili Cook-off.Jessie Alderete, our Spanish pastor, came in second.
