Local Builders Win Awards

The 2012 Builders Association of Victoria Parade of Homes was recently kicked off with an Awards Banquet at Victoria Country Club. This year’s “Lifestyle Choices” presented by the Builders Association of Victoria presented thirteen beautiful homes built by eight area builders. The awards were presented to builders in nine categories. Judges were from the San Antonio area & Corpus Christi.

Prokop Custom Homes won the coveted Best of Show award for the home at 153 Tuscany Way in Port O’Connor. Prokop also won awards for houses at 3119 US Hwy 183 in Cuero and 22 Caracol Drive in Port O’Connor.

Rhe Builders of Seadrift won awards for Best Craftsmanship, Best Kitchen, and Best Interior Decor for their home at 700 Swan Point Marina, Seadrift.

Winners in other categories were Blanton Builders, Morris Builders and Designer Homes by Rex Horst.

The Parade of Homes is open through Monday, May 28th. Hours are: Sat., May 26- 10 to 6; Sun., May 27- 1 to 6; and Mon., May 28- 10 to 6. Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased at any of the tour homes. Tickets allow entry into all thirteen homes on the tour.
