The year us winding down. Come out and join us at the Annual Christmas Party…

Here we are in the middle of November. By now the Port O’Connor Chamber  meeting has come and gone. The next meeting will be December 10, 2012 and the ballot for  the election will have been made. You can still get your name added if you are a member of the Chamber. Make plans to attend the December meeting as this will be the Annual Christmas Party. We need all members present for the election, as everyone’s vote counts. This election will be for the 2013 Officers and Directors. Everyone in the community is invited, so come out and enjoy snacks and visit with your neighbors. If you are a newcomer to the community come out and get acquainted.

The Chamber is looking forward to a terrific “Annual Lighted Boat Parade” down the ICW. The wonderful  people with the “Toy Run” from Freeport to Port O’Connor have reported that they hope to have around 40 boats this year. The Toy Run has joined in our parade for about the last four years. They make our parade a much larger success. We really appreciate these men, women and children doing this for our community. The parade will be December 1st.  The POC Lighting Contest will be December 12th & 13th, so get those lights hung and get in the spirit.

The meeting on the 10th will be at 6:30 p.m. in the POC Community Center. See You !!!
