The Port O’Connor Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the first annual Crawfish Festival and Crawfish Cook-Off at King Fisher Park and Beach on May 4, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Crawfish Fest is a public event presented by the Chamber of Commerce. Proceeds will go to the continuous effort of improving King Fisher Park. Funds will go to maintenance, repairs and an ongoing building project for a new pavilion.
The Chamber is seeking sponsors and vendors to contribute to the event. They also need volunteers! Your support is needed to help make this event a success and benefit the Port O’Connor community. For more information on sponsorship levels, vendor spots and volunteering, please contact Donna Pyle at dmp3485@tisd.net or Natasha Helm at natrookh@gmail.com
Cook-Off registrants may enter by filling out a registration form and sending it to the above email addresses. Categories include: Best Crawfish, Best Crawfish Wildcard, People’s Choice, and a Best Decorated Booth. The wildcard category allows participants to cook their specialty crawfish plate.
