Fidencio Morales, 84, of Seadrift, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013. He ws born June 8, 1928, in Premont to the late Senon Morales and Adela Quintanilla. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and was retired from Brown and Root.

He is survived by his daughter, Adela Ureste and husband John of Seadrift; granddaughter/caregiver, Margarita Ureste Ruppelius of Seadrift; sons, Fidencio Morales Jr. of Seadrift, Ecedro “Marty” Morales of Houston; sister, Martina Ozuna of Falfurrias; brothers, Senon Morales Jr. of Placedo, Daniel Morales of Port Lavaca; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ofilia Garcia Morales; parents; sons, Ruben Morales and Ramiro Morales.
Funeral Mass was April 4, 2013, at Our Lady of the Gulf. Burial followed at Seadrift Cemetery.

Pallbearers were John Ureste Sr., Steven Ruppelius, Cleo Morales, Michael J. Ureste, John Ureste Jr., and Leo Morales.

Honorary pallbearers were Jeffery Alfred, Jacob Morales, Greg Morales, Albert Barrientes Sr., James Bundrick, Ramiro “Ray” Morales, Remigio Morales Jr., Abel Morales, Roger Morales, and Frank Villareal.
