Joe Raye Hubbell, 49, of Seadrift, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2013. He was born in El Campo on July 17, 1963 to Joe Bob and Marilyn Skow Hubbell. He was an industrial instrument fitter. Joe was a Lutheran and he loved fishing. He was a loving dad and a great son, brother, and uncle. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Joe is survived by his grandmother, Ella Hubbell; daughter, Molly Jean Hubbell of Blessing; son, Cody Raye Hubbell of Blessing; sisters, Sherilyn Harding (Flectcher) and Marilyn Dufner (John); nieces, Misty Passmore (Jason), Amy Dufner, Sephanie Harding; nephew, John Dufner, Jr.; great nephew Carson Passmore; and Lisa Lawson.

Funeral services were held April 8, 2013 at Grace Funeral Chapel with Dr. Joseph Dufner and Richard Deases officiating. Burial followed at Seadrift Cemetery.

Pallbearers were James Hubbell, Jesse Hubbell, Ronnie Gooden, Douglas Skow, Eugene Darst and Shane Stoltz. Honorary pallbearers were Garland Spencer, Heinz Stoltz, Aaron Frank Hubbell, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and all his co-workers at GE Energy.
