Here it is for all you crawfish lovers, this is your festival! The Port O’Connor Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the first annual Crawfish Festival and Crawfish Cook-Off at King Fisher Beach and Park on May 4, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. There will be live music throughout the day, food, drink and craft vendors. Many local organizations may have booths there as well.

There will be a Crawfish Boil Cook Off contest, a Crawfish eating contest, and Wild Card Category (any other type of dish with crawfish). This is a family friendly event that will have many things for everyone to do including children’s activities. So mark the date on your calendar now and make plans to spend your Cinco de Mayo at the POC Crawfish Festival and Cook Off.

Proceeds from this event will go toward King Fisher Beach improvement projects. Your support is vital to the success of this festival. Whether a sponsor, vendor, cook off participant, volunteer or attendee, everyone will have lots of fun.
