Sonny Mullins of Seadrift has been volunteering his time at the14th Street area of the Seadrift bayfront for more than a month. A once undeveloped area of the park that was washed out and full of weeds, trash and driftwood is now clean and weed free. Sonny, along with several other bayfront residents, has supplied materials and labor for the new, beautiful walk bridge, This is a popular area for walkers and joggers.Sonny says he doesn’t mind volunteering his time as he enjoys the fresh air and keeping busy.
