Victoria – John E. Burkhart, IV, 64, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2013. He was born on February 1, 1949 in Houston to the late John E. Burkhart III, and Cora Bryan Burkhart.

He is survived by his daughters, Allison Bryan Burkhart of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Sara Burkhart (Scott) Smejkal of Anchorage, Alaska; sister, Coco Burkhart of Bayou Vista, Texas; grandchildren, Hannah, Gretchen, Graydon, and Hudson John (HJ) of Anchorage, Alaska. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Austin Bryan Burkhart, and Charles Stephen Burkhart.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
