The Big “Birthday Bash” on Sunday evening, September 8, was a huge success! Bro. Donnie Martin’s devotional was very good and everyone sang “Happy Birthday” to twelve people who had birthdays in July, August and September. The food was outstanding and the desserts were “out of this world”. The next Birthday Bash will be in December and combined with the Annual Church Christmas Party and we will celebrate birthdays in October, November and December.

This past Sunday, September 15, the morning service was turned over to our special guests, “Appointed by Grace”. This outstanding trio sang, preached, gave testimonies and inspired everyone. We will not forget the inspirational messages in song and the great testimonies by Joe Irwin, Amy Gregory, and Karla Burris.

The women of the Church have announced their weekly Bible and Book Study. The women will meet every Tuesday evening in Fellowship Hall from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. All women are invited and encouraged to attend this exciting and informative meeting.

The Senior Adult Retreat at Camp Zephyr is drawing a lot of attention as several senior adults in the Church are preparing to go September 30 through October 3.
