Inez Peeler, 84, of Seadrift passed away August 29, 2013. She was born November 29, 1928 to the late James and Alice Blanton. She is survived by her two sons, James Peeler and Teddy Peeler. Graveside services were held September 3 at the Seadrift Cemetery.

Judge Completes Seminar
The City of Seadrift Municipal Judge Reynaldo Madrigal completed the New Judge’s Seminar in Austin, Texas on July 15-19, 2013. Judge Madrigal, who holds a degree in Criminal Justice from A&M, was sworn in as City Judge in March of this year.
