Lufkin – Tommy Lynn Hamilton, passed away in a Lufkin Texas hospital, on March 8, 2014, at the age of 65.

Tommy was born in Redden, Okla., on January 15, 1949 to J.T.(Tommy) and Billie Ruth Hamilton. Tommy was the third child in this union and the oldest son.

He was raised in Seadrift and was a former member of First Baptist Church, as he would say he loved God and Jesus. He worked some years for King Fisher Marine Service.

Tommy always had a smile on his face.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Linda Kay, Carolyn Vay, and Beverly Sue as well as a brother in love, Lloyd Strown, his sister in love, Janet Hamilton and great nephew, Jaidon Watson.

He is survived by his loved ones, Sister and Ranger. His sister, Ruby King and Doyle of Wells, brothers, Jerry Hamilton and Lynn of Aransas Pass, Jack Hamilton and Claudia aka Shorty of Port Lavaca. Troy Hamilton of League City, Roger Hamilton and Susan aka Half Pint of Mont Belvieu. Nieces and nephews, Cathy Sue, Kyle Ray, Jerry B. aka Cookie Monster, Billie June aka Baby Brewer, Penny Michelle, James Barton, Paula Jean, Jennifer Lynn, Troy II aka Troyboy, Tommy Lee, Chase aka White Hair, Tammi Rene, Ashley Kate and Travis.

Great nieces and nephews: Lacie aka hoot-n-nanny, Dakota, Jacqui, Nicholas, Daegin, Layla, Jaida ,Berkley, Caleb, Paityn ,Eli, Neylia, Sadie and due in April, Troy III. Aunt and uncle Phyllis and Roger Hagan of Statesboro, Ga and a special cousin, Howard Gregg.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the Richardson Colonial Funeral Home. Burial followed at the Seadrift Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donate to Hospice in the Pines or Joe W. Elliott House in Lufkin Texas.
