Robert Erwin Kidd of San Marcos Texas passed away June 14, 2014. He was born on March 23, 1954 to Edwin Cason Kidd and Edith Erwin Kidd in Baton Rouge, LA.

Bob was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a great mentor, legendary story teller and master BBQer, the King of the Baby Back Ribs. He was always quick with a joke and will be remembered for great advice, as well as his secret dry seasoning. Bob was dedicated to work and passionate in his commitment to friends, country and family. He especially loved his newest role, GrandBob to Rylee Anne. He was happiest on the water with his wife Annie and best fishing buddies.

In addition to Annie, Bob is survived by his daughter Melanie Kidd and her husband John Bimler, granddaughter Rylee Anne; daughter Brooke Boren; daughter Llana Boren; brother, Casey Kidd and his partner Mark Archer; sister Ann Chapman and her husband Fred Chapman.

A celebration of his life was held at the Maxwell Social Club on Sunday, June 22.
