Don’t miss an opportunity to have some fun and learn more about these wonderful birds who grace POC with their presence, especially at this time of year. Jeanette Larson, author of Hummingbirds: Facts and Folklore from the Americas, will discuss her book and enlighten us on the interesting history of the “hummer” throughout the ages.

Jeanette has recently moved to Rockport and credits her interest in hummingbirds and bird watching with the impetus for her move to our wonderful Gulf Coast from the Austin area.

Come meet Jeanette and enjoy the meeting of the Port O’Connor Book Club at the Port O’Connor Library, 101 S. 6th (next to the fire station) on Tuesday, September 16 at 2:30 PM. There is no charge and refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Port O’Connor Library, Inc.
