The Seadrift Lady Pirates played the Patti Welder Cougars at Patti Welder September 18, 2014. Both teams won their match in two.

Seventh grade scores were 25-22, and 25-16. Eighth grade scores were 25-14 and 25-9. High Scorers for seventh grade were Aubrey Moore with 10 points, one ace and a kill, and Keegan Brumfield with seven points and one ace. Others were Camryn Edwards, Madi Bierschwale, and Adrianna Thomas with two points each and Lilliana Torres with one point. Eighth grade high scorers were Anna Sachtleben with ten points and one ace and Krislyn Key with eight points, two aces and four kills. Others were Rebecca Barrera with six points, Kellie Blevins with four points and four kills, Cierra Harper with three points, Heather Glover and Haley Bales with one point each. Great job Lady Pirates!

The Lady Pirates played the Stroman Vipers at Stroman on September 22, 2014. Seventh and eighth grade won their match in two. The scores were 25-21 and 25-12 for the seventh grade and 25-16 and 25-14 for the eighth grade. Seventh grade high scorer was Aubrey Moore with eighteen points, two aces. Others were Madi Bierschwale with four points, one ace, Keegan Brumfield with three points, two aces, and Adrianna Thomas and Liliana Torres with one point each. Eighth grade high scorer was Karley Gregory with sixteen points, two aces. Others were Krislyn Key with nine points, two aces, Anna Sachtleben with four points, one ace, and Kellie Blevins with four points, two aces and two kills. Way to go Lady Pirates!

The Seadrift 7th grade Lady Pirates participated in the Cade volleyball tournament this September 25th and 27th and won second place.

On Thursday, the Pirates played the Stroman Vipers and won in two. The scores were 25-23 and 25-20. High scorers were Aubrey Moore with 10 points and Liliana Torres with 8 points. Others were Keegan Brumfield and Alyssa Reyna with 2 points and Adrianna Thomas with one.

On Saturday, the Lady Pirates beat the Fiddlers in two. The scores were 25-13 and 26-24. High scorers were Aubrey Moore with 13 points, Camryn Edwards with 6 points and Amber Rodriguez with 5 points. Others were Liliana Torres with 4 points, Alyssa Reyna with two points, and Adrianna Thomas, Madi Bierschwale and Keegan Brumfield with one point each.

The Lady Pirates took second place in the tournament with their last match against the Cade Bulldogs. Scores were 21-25 and 13-25. High scorer was Keegan Brumfield with 8 points. Others were Aubrey Moore, Amber Rodriguez and Madi Bierschwale with 2 points each and Liliana Torres with one. Good Job Lady Pirates!

Seadrift Lady Pirates played the Howell Lady Wildcats at Seadrift School October 2, 2014. The seventh grade Lady Pirates lost their match in three. The scores were 19-25, 27-25, 24-26. High scorers were Aubrey Moore and Liliana Torres with 7 points each, and Madison Bierschwale with 5 points. Others were Alyssa Reyna and Keegan Brumfield with 4 points each, Jasmine Wooldridge and Amber Rodriguez with 2 points each, and Adrianna Thomas and Shelby Koliba with one point each. The eighth grade Lady Pirates won their match in three the scores were 25-19, 24-26, 25-13. High scorers were Heather Glover with 13 points, 2 aces and Anna Sachtlaben with 10 points, 3 aces. Others were Krislyn Key with 8 points, 2 aces and 5 kills, Kellie Blevins with 5 points, 6 kills, and Karley Gregory and Rebecca Barrera with 3 points each. Awesome games Lady Pirates!
