The Port O’Connor Cemetery Association will be using weed killer around the headstones at Port O’Connor Cemetery.  Weeding around all the headstones is a very big job, and since maintenance is done solely by volunteers, and most of the volunteers as not so young anymore, the Association has decided to use weed killer.

If you have a concern about this, the Association suggests you need to clean around your plot’s headstones and weed killer will not have to be used there.
