Fire Prevention Poster Contest
To increase student’s awareness of possible escape routes during a fire, the Port O’Connor Volunteer Fire Department sponsored a contest for students in the 3rd – 5th grades. Students drew a layout of their homes and showed fire escape routes for each room. The winners of the contest were: 1st Place: Sarah Doggett; 2nd Place: Jessie Lashley; 3rd Place: Tarah Munsch
