The 8th grade class at Seadrift School recently spent the day in Corpus Christi, Texas.  They visited the Texas State Aquarium, The Selena Memorial on the Seawall, and the Corpus Christi Hooks game against Midland Rockhounds on May 5, 2015.  The students also spent some time at the La Palerma Mall for a chance to shop.  The day was a full success for all and everyone had a really great time. This was the last trip as a group for these Seadrift 8th graders.  Most have been together since Pre-K and Kindergarten.  We will miss this group and good luck at Calhoun High School next year.           -Margaret Charnetski
