Come and see, if you haven’t already, make the acquaintance of Beverly and Mike Clifton, and their newest endeavor, Salt Blossom. Located near the end of Adams Avenue in the previously owned and operated Gift Shop, this business features many items for the “husband in trouble”. Fresh flowers are here and Beverly has the ability to make a very unusual arrangement as well as some potted plants and balloon gifts.
Salt Blossom by Beverly with the aid of her husband, Mike, has been in operation since Valentine’s Day with hours running from 10 am to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. And Beverly is not just occupied with the “flower shop” as well as she and Mike continue work with Scouting in Port Lavaca; her four boys have kept her very busy as well. With the oldest being in law school in Oklahoma to her youngest boy a student of Junior High, Beverly somehow manages to keep it all together and also have time to work in the ER at Port Lavaca Hospital as a registered nurse. I’m still wondering where she gets all that energy; special vitamins?
Beverly is a native Port O’Connor, being a member of the Lambright family while husband Mike is from the Brazoria area; both being Texans and both having a love for the beach and fishing-side of our community. As the name, Salt Blossom indicates a love of that wonderful ocean breeze along with flowers as well, Beverly conveys to each new customer her delight in being where she is.
Additionally, placed strategically along the walls are the stunning photographs of our area by Jennifer Goode O’Neill; so if you are really looking for something special for your home, do check these artistic displays; each would definitely add to the walls of your home; I know I was fortunate and was able to purchase one. And there are also available for purchase some of the custom designed wreaths and baskets by Stacey Brobston as well as other items from Designs by Darla.
