Mrs. Smith, wife of the late Chester Smith, and a part-time resident of Port O’Connor for many years, passed away at the age of 91 on October 12, 2015 in Baytown, Texas.

She is survived by eight children: Linda (Dave) Barley, Danny (Cathy) Smith, Bonnie (Randy) Fluitt, Connie (Ralph) Wead, Susie (Terry) Cecil, Nancy (Rick) Posey, Peggy (Tim) Wilkinson and Robin (Phil) Branna, plus 14 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her borther, Joseph (Melba) Haney.
