Congratulations, Sofia Vasquez, Calhoun County Fair’s 2015 Litle Miss Cowgirl! Sofia is in the 2nd grade at JR Elementary School. She is the daughter of Derek and Audie Vasquez, granddaughter of David and the late Cindy Vasquez; granddaughter of Erasmo “Razz” and Marthan Montemayor, and great-granddaughter of Mary Jane Schaefer.

A raffle is being held to help defray medical expenses for Eufaula Hester of Seadrift, who contracted flesh eating bacteria in July of this year.
