Dear Coastal Bend Friends,

The celebration and dedication to the Lucia Ornelas Foundation located at 312 N Commerce, Port Lavaca on Saturday November 21, 2105 is something I will never forget.

The whole Ornelas family was there remembering their mother and grandmother of the values that were installed in each of them and were being used as they helped many needy families with Thanksgiving dinners.

The Spanish Choir that she started at Our Lady of the Gulf Church that Ramon Moreno is now doing at the Church and the many prayer groups that Lucia was involved and prayed for many people that were having challenges in their life.

There were many open hearts and hands praying with children that were less fortunate Lucia showed her children how to share their Saturday morning.
It was truly a Saturday to remember.

Dr. Gloria Ornelas Gonzales touching on people that their Mother had helped in the Community Father Sam blessed the building Her memory lives on in the lives of their Family and friends for the next generation to carry on and do the things that she showed as an example of how she lived her life.

What a special way to start the Holiday Season You can not Out Give God.

Russell Cain, Port Lavaca
