Davis Ayers and family from Houston recently enjoyed a trip to the jetties with Capt. Ron Arlitt of Scales and Tales Guide Service of Port O’ Connor.

Despite a moderate swell and off-color water conditions, the guys did great. Sheepshead, Drum and Reds hit the live shrimp used for bait. A number of big reds were caught also and released to fight another day.

They plan on returning in the summer for some trout action.
