On March 2nd students at POC Elementary celebrated Dr. Seuss birthday with lots of fun activities. Retired teachers, Lydia Strakos, Leeanne Hribek, Mary Ann Claiborne, Lynda Gosnell read Dr. Seuss books to the kids. Speedy Stop provided and cooked green eggs and ham for the students.
Xandra Alford and Candice Stryker painted student’s faces, PTO volunteers, Becky Spicak, April Price, Alyssa Rhoads and Amber Ferrell spray painted student’s hair and ran the fishing booth. We are so lucky to have such great volunteers in our community.
