Media Polling, Bias, and Lies

As we head into the last 3 months of the most viciously contentious Presidential election in memory, a few things have become glaringly apparent. Trump is amazingly popular with the people, his appearances are mobbed, always filled with overflow crowds outside. Hillary, not so much. Smaller venues and often only a few hundred dedicated followers. But the National Polls consistently show her to be a big winner, how can that be?

By examining the “Respondents” of Reuters poll, it is well known and easy to follow, it becomes clear that they are skewing the numbers. Go to http://polling.reuters.com/#!poll/TM651Y15_DS_13/filters/LIKELY:1/type/smallest/dates/20160710-20160808/collapsed/true/spotlight/1 , see 42.1 – 34.8% Clinton over Trump by the ‘Likely General Election Voters’, a 7.9% lead. I used this because it is the latest. At the bottom click ‘Clear All Filters’ & click ‘Political’ & ‘Democrats’- read ‘Filtered to 43% of Respondents’. Click off Dems and add ‘Republicans’ – see 35% of Respondents. There is an 8% “lead” for Clinton. Click ‘Clear’ then ‘Personal’ and ‘Female’ (you may have to scroll up), and get 56%. Then ‘Clear’, ‘Personal’ & ‘Male’ to read 43%. That is a 13% load to favor Women, that statistically support Hillary at about a third higher rate than Men. That would give another 4% “load” for Hillary, for a total 12% “load” for the Democrat. Therefor, a 7.9% “lead” to Hillary really translates into a 4.1% lead for Trump. The Pollsters try to claim that their choice of “Respondents” is based on demographics and voters in the 2008 election when Obama was popular and McCain was not, but the spread is way too far, and conditions are different. Polling is a business and they compete for customers and readers and especially ADVERTISERS for News orgs. Reuters is easy to check, most others are harder, but you must understand how they load the poll to get any reasonable result. The Media and the Pollsters are trying to convince America that Hillary is popular and inevitable. They must have their own reasons.

As my Grandmother used to say, “There are 3 kinds of lies: lies, damn lies, and statistics.” If they don’t explain the comparison, any conclusion is probably false. The ‘News’ bemoans “the slow growth of the economy”, but what does it mean?

They claim a 1.2% “growth” in the GDP, but it is measured in dollars, so if there is a 3.5% inflation (a very low estimate, in real “goods” could be closer to 6%), the “Economy” actually shrunk by 2.3%. Think about it, you may have 1.2% more dollars, but if they buy 3.5% less ‘stuff’, you actually are losing “purchasing power”. What is even worse is the Gross Domestic Product is based on the “total value” of “goods and services”, not actual production. If the “value of services” goes up 10% and the actual production of usable “wealth” goes down 8.8% you still have a “net gain” of 1.2% (?). “Inflation” is hard to measure honestly, it varies by different items, supply and demand, as well as the relative value of the currency. Pick a common item you use regularly – in 2008 Tuna Fish was 3 cans for $2, now is almost a dollar a can, so the ‘Dollar vs Tuna’ rate is almost 1/3. Rib steaks have practically doubled, so it is all relative to what you are buying and need. In a real “Recession” with reasonably honest money, the “economy” slows, jobs are harder to find, wages are lower, but prices usually go down or at least stabilize. At least for basic stuff. What we have is a “Recession” in business, manufacturing, and production, but real growth in Govt and immigration all propped up by an artificial increase in the “Money Supply” of debt-money created by the Federal Reserve System. Often only by computer entry, with the FED “buying” the Treasury notes they create with . The Welfare State furnishes “money” to people that don’t work, so you have more dollars chasing less production and fewer goods. A sure recipe for inflation and even hyper-inflation. This destroys the value of actual earned income of workers, and the savings of the retired.

Few people seem to really understand, or care that another Democrat Administration under Hillary Clinton will only accelerate the past failures of the Obamunist Admin, plus the increasing violence by radical socialists, Race Baiters, Illegal Alien Invaders, Islamofascist Jihadists, and common criminals, even against the police, is being encouraged with their Marxist/Alinskyite rhetoric. This is the Leninist recipe for riot, chaos, revolution, death of democracy and Constitutional Law, and CHANGE to One Party Govt and Dictatorship of the Proletariat. I’m not saying that most Democrats want that, but the hard-core Marxists do. Many Republicans want the “Status Quo” because they have good govt jobs or political power, and don’t care about “The Big Picture”, or even their children’s future. The politicians, bureaucrats, and Media Wonks are so divorced from reality that they think it can’t affect them, and they see Trump as a threat to their “Status Quo”.
It is all about self-interest by the “Leadership” of both Parties now. Both sides fear and despise Trump for their own reasons, but mostly because Trump might just restore a somewhat limited, Constitutional govt, responsible to the Citizens. I have studied Hillary Clinton for 24 years, and Donald J. Trump for 2. I can say with confidence that Donald J. Trump loves America, because it has been very good to him. Hillary Clinton loves Hillary Clinton, maybe Saul Alinsky, and their vision of a “Socialist America”, with Hillary Clinton in charge, of course. And money, Hillary does love money.

If Trump is elected and can do half of what he envisions in 4 years, he will be one of the greatest Presidents ever elected. If he fails, he will be easy to defeat for re-election. What Hillary is promising is more of the ObamaNation failures, only throw more money at it; more Globalism, more unassimilated immigrants demanding more ‘Change’ to suit them, and even more Federal usurpation of powers from the States and the People. After 4 more years of appointing activist judges, divisive radical groups, and vote fraud, it will be impossible to get her out of office except replaced with a worse Democrat Socialist. It is not pretty, but those are the only two choices. All the Third Party and Independent Candidate hoop-la is just going to give the election and America to Hillary and her Globalist-Elitist friends. That is why the Big Money People are backing her, “to buy a place at the table”.
