Fifteen Calhoun County residents were named to Victoria College’s Dean’s List for the Fall 2016 semester.

Named to the list were Port Lavaca’s Kody Balfanz, Michael Brown, Dustin Canales, Mauro Contreras, Dylan Cox, Reynaldo Gonzalez, Elizabeth Guevara, Natividad Maseda, Paul Riccio, Andrea Silva Andrade and Wei-Ting Su; Port O’Connor’s Justin Osborn, Troy Wygrys; and Seadrift’s Wyatt Bowman and Peter Deforest.

To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average over a minimum of 12 academic credit hours within the semester and must not have any unsatisfactory grades in any classes.

Peter DeForest Jr., son of Peter DeForest and Stacey DeForest of Seadrift made the Dean’s List of Honor Students at Victoria College for the 2016 Fall Semester with a GPA of 3.50 He is also a Seadrift Volunteer Firefighter

Caitlin Carter, daughter of Chuck and Brenda Carter of Port O’Connor, Caitlin made the Dean’s List, Fall 2017, at A & M University. Caitlin is a Geology student.

Victoria Reyes, 18, of Seadrift is now in her second semester at Sam Houston State University. She pulled off a 3.75 GPA for her first semester and now has landed a spot on the Dean’s List! She is going for her business degree. She attends college full time and works part time at The Farm Patch in Bryan/College Station. Congratulations Vicki, I am so proud of you!
