Can you believe we are planning the 5th, Fireman’s 4, 4 Mile Run, benefiting the Volunteer Fire Department of Port O’Connor, Texas? In 2016, we again, had over 200 participants and we met our goal of raising $10,000!

These volunteers do their best to help serve the Port O’Connor community and deserve to have the most effective equipment and supplies. The goal of this benefit is a way to give some support back to those residents who are helping ensure the safety and well being of Port O’Connor.

This year the POC VFD plans to utilize any donations or funding they may receive for the purchase of state of the art compressor to fill air pack bottles, a new chassis for the ambulance and new lockers to better protect their costly turnout gear. The Fireman’s 4 Race is our way of helping the department reach some of those goals and say, “THANK YOU.”
