Danny was born in Victoria, Texas on July 15, 1953 to Dorothy and Ed Janota. He passed away August 25, 2017 in Houston, Texas at the age of 64.

He worked for Southern Pacific and then Union Pacific Railroad for over 30 years before retiring in 2010.

Port O’Connor was a special place for Danny, as he loved the coast and boating. He was an avid water skier and loved motor corss in his younger years. Lake Travis and Austin were a few more of his favorite spots. He was able to attend a space shuttle launch in Florida, which was one of his dreams. Danny always had a big heart and a soft spot for babies and dogs. Danny had a love for music and enjoyed sharing it with everyone around him.
