Anthony Brian Caruso, 46, of Seadrift, was born Jan. 8, 1972 to Joanne Wheeler Caruso and Robert H. Caruson in San Leandro, California. Anthony passed away on Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018 in Victoria, Texas after a long and courageous battle with brain cancer. He was surrounded by many members of his family that loved him dearly.
Anthony is survived by his three sons Mavric, Nate and Mikey, parents, step-dad Mike Mueller, brothers Michael (Carrie), Joey (Meredith), nephews Matthew Dominic, Kammron and Wheeler Caruso. Anthony is also survived by a large family with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Anthony is preceded in death by his grandmothers Mildred “Memaw” Wheeler and Thelma “Grandma C.” Caruso.
Anthony was one of the kindest, caring, loving free spirit that God ever made and all that came in contact with him knew it immediately. Every heart that knew Anthony is broken.
A celebration of his life was held on Sunday, February 25 at the Rick Brush Community Center in Point Comfort, Texas. A very special thank you to Dr. Ty Meyer, Dr. Terry Whitehouse, Brother Larry Green, Hospice RN Lynn Rhodes and all the loving and caring nurses and staff of Hospice Compassion Center.
The family requests that any donations be made to the Hospice of South Texas, 605 E. Locust, Victoria, Texas in Anthony’s name.
