On March 1st, the 2018 Chamber membership applications were in the mail. Thanks to all who replied so far. We are here to promote our community and businesses. A committee has volunteered to research information on acquiring a new website for www.portoconnorchamber.com, hoping it will attract more traffic. The site will be much easier to update and more user friendly. Hopefully it will be up and running within the next couple months.

The Scholarship applications must be filled out and returned by the deadline of March 31,2018.Sometimes students forget to get this turned in by deadline, but there is no extension time. So parents, if your child hasn’t brought this home and filled it out yet, you still have time to get it in.

The 6th Annual Crawfish Festival is on the horizon. If you have never attended one of these, it’s not to late too make plans to be in Port O’Connor on April 28th, to enjoy a fun filled day at King Fisher Park, with all the crawfish you can eat, along with games and Live Music, also many, many vendors, This will be the kick-off of activities for 2018.
