Ronald Arlen (Ronnie) McBride, 65, of Port Lavaca, Texas passed away on February 24, 2018.

Ronnie was born in Port Lavaca, Texas on April 10, 1952 to Raymond and Loreen McBride.

He graduated from Calhoun High School and enlisted in the Army serving his country from 1970-1973, with a 1-year tour in Vietnam.

Ronnie was an accomplished guitar player and he loved playing and singing for his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his younger brother Roy McBride and brother-in-law Gene Pope.

Ronnie is survived by daughters, Melanie Brown (Bryan), Racheal McBride (Chris); Brothers, Gerald McBride, Mitchal McBride (Mary); Sister, Paricia (Sissy) Pope, and sister-in-law Wendy McBride; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on March 24, 2018 at Bayside Community Church with Pastor Rueben Castillo officiating.
