Wanda Nell Kirkwood, 80, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, Indiana. Wanda was born in Seadrift, TX on January 27, 1938 to the late John and Nellie Henderson. She was married to Butler Kirkwood who preceded her in death. She owned and operated a bar for many years. Wanda especially loved to crochet and spend time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cooking and watching John Wayne movies.

Survivors include son Carl (Lana) Maxwell of Thorntown, Indiana; grandchildren Von and Matthew Maxwell, Trisha (Shawn) Eaton and Dwayne Frye of Lebabon, IN, Stephen L. Henderson of CA; and Brandy (Bret) White of NC; sisters Mary Ella Glaze and Gloria Spencer of Seadrift, TX; brothers Tommy Henderson of Seadrift, TX and J.N. Henderson of Russellville, Arkansas.

In addition to her parents and husband, Wanda was preceded in death by two sons, Stephen Henderson and Jeff Maxwell; and sister, Lora G. Rubalcaba.
Graveside services were held March 11, 2018 at Seadrift Cemetery in Seadrift, TX.
