Naomi Albrecht

As part of Naomi Albrecht’s 95th birthday celebration Saturday, April 21, at Cathy’s Restaurant, Juaniece Madden presented a plaque recognizing Albrecht’s contributions to the Calhoun County Humane Society. The two women first met in Port O’Connor in 1947 when they dated the men who would become their husbands, Lewis Madden and Clarence Albrecht. Today both women remain active in the Humane Society and are major contributors to the new shelter.
