On August 7, Texas EquuSearch began searching for 25-year-old Suzanne (Suzie) Escobedo who has been missing from her Seadrift home since August 2nd. As of this writing, she has not been found.

The search team involved is part of the 1,000+ member organization, all volunteers, from all walks of life. They search on horseback, on foot, with ATVs and sometimes by air and water.

Their home base is Dickinson, Texas, and they have chapters in Kansas, Ohio and Florida. Since being founded 20 years ago, Texas EquuSearch has searched in 42 states and eight different countries. They have made over 1,800 searches and returned 400 missing people to their families and recovered the remains of 238 deceased.

This non-profit organization was founded by Tim Miller, following the disappearance of his own daughter 20 years ago.
