Hooked On Books Club Members in their spring hats

Thirty two ladies attended March’s meeting of the “Hooked On Books” Book Club, held at the POC Library. The group enjoyed homemade crawfish pie, crawfish toast, and other goodies served by Hostesses Carol Brayko and Ursula Price, in honor of this month’s book, “Where The Crawdads Sing” by Delia Owens. After a fun and lively discussion of the book, the group received copies of recipes from the book, as well as information about upcoming social events in the Community. A great time was had by all!!

Twenty two lovely ladies donned their favorite spring hats and attended April’s “Hooked On Books” meeting and “Garden Party” hosted by Joanie Morgan, Charlotte Fitzgerald, & Monica McClung. Members were treated to a delicious meal of boiled shrimp, salad, snacks, scrumptious desserts, and a variety of beverages, followed by a lively discussion of April’s book, “The Light Between Oceans”!! Everyone enjoyed the beautiful garden surroundings, the perfect spring weather, the lively book discussion, and visiting with great friends!!
