Victoria – Rev. J.V. Helms passed away April 15, 2019. Funeral services were held on Friday, April 19, 2019, at the Baptist Temple Church with burial following at the Giddings Cemetery in Giddings, TX. Rev. Helms often preached at First Baptist Church of Port O’Connor, and the parishioners miss him.
