The Chamber wants to “THANK” the parents and relatives that took their time to get a child entered in the Annual Kids Fishing Tournament. It had a fantastic turn out. The Chamber really appreciates Mary Francis Bauer and her crew for volunteering their time and abilities to oversee and make this happen.
Appreciation also goes to James and Shirley Harper and crew for volunteering for the Annual Kite Flying Contest. James & Shirley have volunteered for many, many years. I don’t know who enjoys the event more, the entrants or James and Shirley. The day was a perfect Chamber of Commerce Day!!!
The Chamber Scholarships recipients were, Marshall and Mitchell Arlitt. Congratulations to these guys. Wishing you the best!!!!
Things are booming in Port O’Connor, with several Fishing Tournaments every weekend. You can go to the Chamber website calendar for information. If they have shared their information, you will find it there.
Before the next Dolphin Talk, the 4th of July festivities will have come and gone. The donation flyers went out in the mail this week. Without your donations this event would not happen. As everything else in life is going up cost wise, so is the cost of this event. So whether your donation is small or large, it all adds up to make this event happen. EVERYONE STAY SAFE!!!
