Sherri was the love of my life, my beautiful wife. She had a strong Christian faith and was a servant of God, a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. She was caring, passionate and a little bit crazy. Her love was unconditional. We were baptized together and when I got cancer, she was my prayer warrior. God must have heard hecause my cancer is gone. I didn’t deserve her.
There was no halfway for her, it was all in, full speed ahead, whether it was taking care of family and friends, the old folks at work “her antique babies”, or animals in need.
Her heart was as big as Texas and she never met a stranger. She was an uncanny judge of character, no one could fool her.
We had always talked of being together 20 years and finally made it. There were ups and downs along the way, but her love was amazing.
I know she is in Heaven now, but I miss her so much. Heaven is an even better place with her in it. Enjoy your mansion in the sky and streets of gold. -Steve Peters
